Baby Grant

This is our beautiful baby Grant. We love him so much and thank God for him every day. Isn't he cute?

In The Last Year

The Spear family consists of Ben (daddy), Jaime` (mommy) and Grant (baby).

In the last year we have...

• Signed our first cell phone contract
• Gotten married
• Moved to Alexandria VA (9 miles from the Pentagon)
• This just happened to be in a pastor's basement
  
• We just happened to be married a week when we moved there (not recommended)
• Lost Jaime`s grandfather to heart failure
  
• Got pregnant
• Signed up for 2 online college courses to work toward finishing degree (Ben)
  
• Moved into inlaws (the Fraziers) family room for "2 weeks" (also not recommended)
• We lived there for 7 weeks because of extenuating circumstances
• Bought living room furniture (in faith)
  
• Moved to a hotel in Newark Delaware for a month (the company paid for it)
  
• Worked in a refinery until the night-shift (Ben's shift) got laid off
• Got our first dog "Bella" (Ben calls her butt dog)
  
• Floated for a few weeks
• Failed 2 online college courses due to limited internet access (go figure)
  
• Moved to hickory NC
• Bought our first house
• Started Ben's first pastorate at Sandy Ridge Wesleyan Church
• Celebrated our first Christmas together
• Started a new worship team (full band) at church
  
• Painted and decorated entire inside of house
  
• Birthed our first son (Benjamin Grant II) "Grant"
• Planted our first garden

Over all our life is pretty boring, but we have managed to get a little something done in the last year. Hopefully we can now adjust to not moving. So far we love it!!!
